This policy explains what personal data Vertex Algorithms (“I”, “me”) collects through vertexalgorithms.com and related communication, why, and what rights you have. The data controller is Rohit Bhapkar, trading as Vertex Algorithms, Pune, Maharashtra, India. Contact: [email protected].

What I collect

Enquiries: the name, email address, WhatsApp number, country, service, budget and message you send through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp, and the page you came from.
Project information: strategy descriptions, files and account details you choose to share during a project, under NDA.
Technical data: standard server logs and privacy-friendly, aggregated visit statistics from the hosting provider. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Preferences on your device: your chosen theme and currency are stored in your browser’s local storage, not sent to me.

Why I use it, and the legal basis

To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote: your consent and steps taken at your request before a contract.
To deliver and support a project: performance of a contract.
To keep invoices and business records: legal obligation.
To keep the website secure and working: legitimate interests.

I do not sell personal data, and I do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it for me

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and provides aggregated, cookie-free analytics.
The contact form provider (Web3Forms) passes form submissions to my email.
Google provides email (Gmail) and serves the website’s fonts (Google Fonts), which involves your browser connecting to Google’s servers.
WhatsApp (Meta) carries messages if you contact me there.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Project and invoice records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Strategy material shared under NDA is handled as the NDA specifies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Email [email protected] and I will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
